SEEDS started its operation in year 1993 from Anantpur district in Andhra Pradesh. Now, it is also operating in Chittoor district (AP) and Chikkaballapura, Kolar and rural Bangalore districts in Karnataka. More than 100 families and 400 women have benfitted from our programs. Objectives of our programs are :
To take up rejuvenation of water bodies for ground water recharging using schemes like; MGNREGA
To setup vocational training centres to impart employable
skills for the women, adolescents and School dropout youth and to upgrade
skills of rural artisans in agriculture and allied sectors.
To take-up activities to promote dry land Agriculture &
Horticulture, Bio-Agriculture towards sustainable food security.
To promote financial literacy among school and college
children and the community for enhancing their finance management and banking
skills.
To promote preventive health care.
To establish child rights under RTE by strengthening SDMC.
To collaborate with Government, Donors, CSR, Federations and NGO’s in implementation of Schemes and Projects which support livelihoods of the poor and marginal (Vulnerable).
To support Formal and Non Formal literacy programs for the school going and non-school going children
